I’m Cynthia, a KC-Based graphic designer currently working for Warner Music Group (full time remote), as a designer on the merchandise team. My day to day consists of making original art for merch, repurposing artist assets or illustrating for items to be sold D2C or on tour.

I’m Boulder-born, Kansas City-raised and New York-trained. I have my family’s Mexican restaurant in Sedalia MO (El Tapatio), to thank for my career as I got my start making flyers and menus for the biz. That introduction to design turned into a BFA from the University of Missouri in Graphic Design. During my time in Columbia, MO I started working for the local music festival ROOTS N BLUES N BBQ as a design intern. That internship created an obsession for designing within the music industry that eventually turned into a full-time gig in New York City working for WMG. 

When I’m not behind the computer: I enjoy running with my dog Buddy Holly, doing carne asadas with my family, going to drag shows with my friends and cheering on those Kansas City CHIEFS.
